For the safety of all and the event, if you or a member of your household/party are not vaccinated and are displaying any of the symptoms of COVID within 15 days of the event, please stay home unless you receive a negative COVID test.

COVID SAFETY GUIDELINES

New York State releases rules and regulations that we are required to follow in order to race. We have taken extra measures to make this event as safe as possible but your cooperation will go along way to a successful event. NY State will send inspectors and we need to keep racing in 2021. Therefore we ask that if you are unwilling to cooperate with safety guidelines in place at the time of the event that you please do not attend this event this year. As of June 13th, the information directly below is where things stand. There may be changes prior to the event.

    • If you are unvaccinated: a face Covering for nose and mouth needs to be in your possession when you leave your pit area and cannot stay 6′ away from those not in your arrival group. This rule applies to all over the age of 2. This means when you are out walking, you will have to put on your face covering when you are not able to be socially distanced from others.
    • If you are vaccinated: a face covering is optional but not required.
    • Spectators will be expected to follow the face covering and social distancing guidelines as all others.
    • For those unvaccinated, MANDATORY face covering areas include registration, staging (racers in helmets exempt), concessions, posting board, track viewing areas when you are not socially distanced from those not in your group.
    • Wash/sanitize your hands frequently
    • Spectator areas will run under social distancing
    • Bleacher occupancy will be reduced

Additionally we will:

  • Increase cleaning of modern restrooms
  • Install additional sinks and hand sanitizer stations
  • Have 6′ (or the recommended spacing) marked out with 6′ bike rack or other markers in high use areas
  • Posting board viewing will be limited to 1 or same group only at a time
  • Have race order grab and go hand out
  • Increase distance between racers in staging
  • Increase parking distance between vehicles
  • Establish barriers between our staff and our guests
  • Disinfect registration surfaces
  • Monitor mask wearing
  • Not hold any off-track activities that bring people unnecessarily together
