You’ve been asking, so here we go! Amateur racing on the pro track….with some modifications, of course. There is an optional practice day for event participants only on Friday, June 19th. This is not an open practice day and is restricted to event competitors only. Pre-entry is highly recommended so that all the paperwork is done and your sign up experience is quicker.
This is an AMA sanctioned event so you will need to be a member of the AMA (full year or one event member) in order to participate. Whichever membership you have, you will need to have in hand at the event. There are no on-sight AMA membership sales.
NEW FOR 2026, ALL AMA AMATEUR RACING EVENTS NOW REQUIRE “approved chest and back protection are mandatory. The protector may be worn under or over the jersey, and it should cover the sternum anterior ribs, posterior ribs, and spine from T1 to T12.”
Pre-entry will open April 1st, so check your work schedule, vacation schedule, family commitments, school commitments, etc. before pre-entering.

Minor Racer Requirement:
Insurance regulations require the signature of both parents, regardless of marital status, in order for a minor to race at Unadilla. The easiest way to accomplish this is to pre-enter. The pre-entry process requires signatures from both parents. Divorce/separation with sole custody does not waive the two-parent requirement.
- If the minor racer did not pre-enter, then both parents must accompany the racer to the event. Please reach out well ahead of the event, and we can help with this requirement if both parents cannot attend. The pre-entry process collects both signatures, so it is best to pre-enter and be covered! THE
- AMA COMPETITION MEMBERSHIP CARD AND RELEASE WILL NOT OVERRIDE THIS REQUIREMENT.
Pre-entry starts April 1st, giving you plenty of time to check on family commitments, work schedules, etc. BEFORE PRE-ENTRY BEGINS. Please check your availability to attend this event before you pre-enter. The a pre-entry link will be below and on the homepage once it goes live , and will expire on June 15th at 11:59 p.m.
- PRE-ENTRY IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED so that all of your paperwork is done and parent signatures for minor racers have been secured.
- Optional practice day on Friday for those racing only. You cannot enter just on Friday’s practice day.
- First moto on Saturday and second moto on Sunday
- Entry fee covers both days of racing
- In rare cases, select classes may run both motos on Saturday
- No one-day entry
- No classes will have qualifiers
- An on-line insurance release is part of the pre-entry process. Watch for an immediate text/email to complete the release. You are NOT OFFICIALLY ENTERED until the release is completed and submitted.
