MX REWIND

PRESENTED BY NYCM INSURANCE

JUNE 5 – JUNE 7, 2020

Where History Meets the Present … It’s All About Racing!

2020 is ushering in some changes to MX Rewind presented by NYCM Insurance and we believe that you will love them! One of which is absolutely  NO MEMBERSHIPS OF ANY KIND ARE NEEDED FOR ANY EVENT AT MX REWIND. We’ve made sure that any bike up through and including 1999 year models can race all three days (Friday-Sunday), and expanded the eligible years for the cross-country event to include up to 1997 year models. That’s right, many of you who were previously excluded from cross-country now are included! We also added a couple of classes to the grass track line up and modified Friday’s racing schedule a bit.

A couple of series have decided to use MX Rewind as points paying events and we’re happy to have them. But whether you are after points or not, you still do NOT need any membership of any kind to race any day at MX Rewind. So come and plan to have some fun.

MX Rewind remains all about celebrating everything we all love about two wheel racing. Off the track, there’s nothing better than kicking back with old and new friends and bench racing around a campfire. MX Rewind….Where It’s All About Racing!!

VINTAGE RACING

All motocross racing except for the grass track takes place on the Unadilla Pro National track, rewound to be vintage friendly. This is the first race of the season on the Pro National track so it’s a blank slate.

CAMPING PASSES

Staying on-site has become a favorite as people join their friends and fellow racers around the campfire. Tall tales, memories of old, make new friends, relax with beer in hand. No need to spend time going back and forth to a motel when you can put your feet up at the end of the day and motocross until, well, whenever!! Camping makes it not only easier to enjoy Friday and Saturday nights without the hassle of having to drive anywhere at the end of the evening but has you right there ready to go the next morning.

Camping spots are first come, first served and are primitive spots. Water is available to fill tanks/drums but not for individual hook up. We do our best to accommodate groups wanting to park together. If you arrive together, you can definitely park together! Otherwise, we do our best to accommodate getting everyone parked together who wants to be together.

  • Camping gates open Thursday, June 4th at 1pm and close at 11 pm nightly.
  • Camping is available to both racers and spectators. There’s plenty of room!
  • Modern toilets and showers are available on-site.
  • Each camping spot will hold one vehicle (including a trailer in tow)
  • Hook-ups are not available but there is access to potable water upon arrival
  • For groups wanting to camp together, the easiest way is to plan to arrive together. Otherwise, we will do our best to get everyone parked together as you arrive.
  • Racers will be parked as close as possible to the starting line
  • Two main parking areas-you choose your area
  • Pump out service can be arranged with a local sanitation service for $30.

VENDORS

Vending must be reserved and paid for in advance.

Unadilla is looking for vendors of non-food items to be involved at MX Rewind 2020. Examples include but are not limited to: vintage racing clothing, unique t-shirts (non-event related), jewelry, stickers, patches, racing signs, art work, items of interest to people who spend time in the outdoors and traveling.

Vendors can specify whether they wish to be near the starting line, trackside or near the roadway leading to registration and the food concession.

As a vendor, you can begin your weekend on Thursday and continue right up to Sunday. All size spots are available, with the smallest spot being a 10’x10’. Vending spots do not have any hook-ups.

If you have an interest in being part of this event, we would love to talk to you.
